Been sick lately

Thankfully it wasn’t covid this time. I noticed a sore throat on 11-Mar and felt a little run down. By the afternoon of the following day it was clear I was sick. I took my first at home covid test on the 12th which resulted in a negative result. I’ve heard these latest covid strains are harder to detect so I waited another 24 hours and took a 2nd test of a different brand. That test too was negative. I guess that means I didn’t have covid.

I’m sure I’m like a lot of people and I hate to be sick. Not only does one feel bad but I can’t get anything done. My planter boxes are waiting for me to return. It doesn’t really matter today or tomorrow because it’s rainy today and tomorrow is forecasted for rain again. It’s a double whammy of idleness. Sometimes it’s ok to downshift and enjoy life but being sick or being rainy really doesn’t allow one to enjoy life.

It’s mid March and looking back at the year I think I’m in a good space. I’ve completed my business taxes and personal taxes. I’ve locked down my budget and we are tracking well. Now I’m working with my advisors on tuning my investments to better provide income until we can tap the IRAs. I am 90% finished with my floor grout project, I’ve hung all 3 exterior ceiling fans and I’m about ready to start the master bedroom and master closet LVT project. After this rain leaves the area I’ll be able to finish my planter boxes and get started on growing. Not bad at all.
