Looking for Financial Literacy materials

This morning I was doing a little research looking for materials to develop financial literacy. I found several interesting leads. The first lead I found was an offering on the FDIC website that seems to be designed for developing an education force around the topic. They offer a turnkey system for teaching financial literacy. Interesting idea for a retired guy. Here is the link to the offering. I think something like that might be useful in our small town. I’ll add it to the idea list.

The second lead I have I found on a USNews site about online courses for financial literacy. There are several links that take you to specific content sites. Some of these links appear to be university supported and offer some free content with the idea you’ll pay for more advanced courses while others are larger online learning platforms where one can earn certificates and degrees for a fee. Many of these types of platforms offer free versions of the courses without the ability to receive a grade or certificate. Like auditing a course at a university. There is probably some good stuff to pull out from these leads. I’ll check some of these out.
