Wilderness Chili Cookoff Winner

Its a few days late but the thrill of being a chili cookoff winner still lingers. Our neighborhood has been running a chili cookoff and this year I decided to enter a chili dish not to compete but to make sure my vegetarian daughters had food they could enjoy. I am proud to say that a panel of judges including our voluntary fire department (Southern Oaks) decided that my vegetarian chili was in fact the best overall chili at the cookoff. I was awarded a prize consisting of a trophy and a gift card to Chili’s restaurant.
